No one else can lay claim to that title… other than Michael Jackson.
One of the most prolific and fascinating characters in the music industry, Michael has been making music since the 1960’s. His unparalleled legacy is filled with triumphs and titillation. He created what was until recently the best-selling album of all time, “Thriller” (“The Eagles: Greatest Hits” album is the new champ) and the album “Bad,” which was the first album to generate five #1 hits.
But as successful as he’s been, he’s equally as adept at generating bizarre headlines. His reclusive, child-like existence on his Neverland Ranch in California fanned the flames of child molestation stories over the years. And then, of course, there’s the ever-morphing physical appearance that has even the most hard-core fans unsure how to defend their hero.
On June 25, 2009 Michael Jackson was rushed by ambulance to the hospital after suffering from cardiac arrest. He passed away after a brief hospitalization.
