LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Contrary to reports, Redmond O’Neal is not getting his own reality show.

An attorney for the 24-year-old told Access Hollywood that rumors Redmond, the son of Ryan O’Neal and the late Farrah Fawcett, is getting his own show “are not true.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Redmond is currently incarcerated at the Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic, Calif., where he is attending a drug diversion program.

Redmond’s incarceration stems from a January 2008 drug arrest and a probation violation in September 2009.

Redmond was behind bars when his mother passed away due to anal cancer on June 25, 2009. However, he was allowed out of the facility to attend her funeral.

He is “doing exceptionally well in terms of his recovery,” his lawyer told Access.
